Are you Switched On?

Fancy a visit to  Tripolis-park in Amsterdam?

We are organising a visit to the Tripolis-park building in Amsterdam, the EMEA HQ for Uber. The target audience is specifiers and end-users.

Please contact us if you want to see and experience first-hand the efficiencies that Mymesh can achieve by combining lighting and climate control in one wireless infrastructure.

Mymesh - a cost effective, wireless control system

De-carbonising the built environment with Mymesh

While Mymesh’s foundations lye in wireless lighting control, its implications extend far beyond illuminating spaces. Mymesh’s ability to be scalable (>10,000 devices in a single network), independently assessed to be secure, agnostic from manufacturers and then leveraging the robust interconnected capabilities of the Mymesh ecosystem, businesses can unlock a myriad of opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and propel progress towards a greener future. From optimizing building performance to enabling data-driven decision-making, Mymesh exemplifies the convergence of technology and sustainability shaping the buildings of tomorrow.

With reduced hardware and associated cabling Mymesh emerges as a beacon of innovation in the realm of smart building solutions, offering a comprehensive approach to energy and carbon management, sustainability, and operational optimization.

The possibilities are endless in delivering smarter buildings.

  • Hospitals
  • Retail Desitinations
  • Car parks
  • Offices
  • Universities
  • Social Housing
  • Leisure centres
  • Industrial & Warehousing

Improving peoples lives

by making buildings smart

The average person will spend 41 years of their life working. The productivity of that time is strongly related to the environment where you work.

So, wouldn't it be better for the environment to adapt around you, rather than you to it?

With Mymesh, this dream becomes a possibility.

SMART BUILDING DESIGN

“Mymesh has enabled GSTT to significantly reduce energy consumption and associated carbon, whilst delivering a cost effective solution to delivering emergency lighting compliance.”

Agnostic

The last thing you want as a customer is to be captured by a luminaire manufacturer to buy their products to eternity because you adopted their lighting control system. Different suppliers have different strengths, and in the typical building you want to mix & match.

Mymesh works with all lighting manufactures *).  Furthermore, it has a wide and ever expanding ecosystem of products that work on the Mymesh system, like sensors, meters and LED drivers.

*) manufacturers will need to adopt certain common quality measures (like product testing and  end-of-line testing) to ensure a smooth implementation and longevity of the installation.

Less Installation

A major cost in an installation is wiring. It is not only the wires themselves (more on that later), it is also the labour involved. Imagine a building where the only wiring for lighting and climate is mains electricity... with Mymesh, you can.

Read the comparison of the 2 technology approaches:

Less Hardware

Less hardware is less carbon. With Mymesh as the wireless control system for building management, you do not only reduce the amount of wiring, but also enable further reduction in hardware used:

  • Mymesh gets integrated more and more with the hardware that is already being installed; sensors, LED drivers, valves, dampers.
  • No need for switches on the wall. The controls can be accessed by personal mobile devices, without the need to create accounts
  • Advanced sensor techniques and integrated wireless light and climate control can reduce the hardware for room controllers, air handling units, boilers and coolers.

Less Design

Tell us the number of lights, the number of sensors and the number of switches and Mymesh can provide you an accurate cost of the wireless control system. Whats more, the additional installation cost is as good as absent as the system is wireless, and Mymesh already gets integrated with the hardware at the source.

No complex designs needed with LCMs, floor controllers, building controllers. All Mymesh devices (nodes) create 1 large mesh network in the building and commissioning determines the functionality. That's it.

Future Proof

Could you give  a definition of a Smart Building and what that would look like in, say, 5 years time? And one this is valid to all building owners?

Probably not.

The answer is: Choose a system that is flexible and future proof. Make sure that you use and purpose of the system can change with time, without abandoning or replacing hardware. Simply by adding.

It begins with the lighting, but it is not really about the lighting.

climate control

Climate control

Lighting control in essence: a sensor detects presence, the lights comes on to deliver the right level of light; the sensor detects absence, the light goes off.

If we measure this anyway, and could also measure temperature and count people, why don't we do the same for climate (ventilation, heating, cooling)? That's we thought.

Mymesh integrates the electrical and mechanical world by offering a single approach to lighting and climate. All parameters measured from the ceiling, the control loop in the wireless network and controlled directly on the devices.

No need for room controllers, no need from wiring to the end-points, no need for wiring to the BMS head-end.
