Back to the office

Back to school... back to the office?

Most schools are up and running again this week. Does it mean that we are all going back to the office as well?

At the moment a lot of people are still working from home, but continental Europe shows that there is a good chance that most people might be back in a few weeks . Working-from-home offers great benefits for both employer and employee, especially if your home setting is well suited (space, 'tools', quietness). However, the benefits of the office also should not be underestimated. Social interaction, learning, the accidental meeting at the coffee machine.

As with most things, it is probably about finding the right mix. And it is likely to have an impact on 'office-life'. The purpose of the office is changing, and at Chess we foresee that making your office Smart will help with this. A Smart office is more adaptable and will interact with the 'users'. Smart booking of office space and desks, asset tracking, indoor positioning and monitoring of the space can deliver a better employee environment while optimising the use and efficiency of the building.
